Calamari Bathe & Binge: Food Review

Calamari Bathe & Binge: Food Review

Best known for its mouthwatering seafood dishes, Calamari Bath & Binge is highly influenced by Goan cuisine. It is one of the most popular restaurants in North Goa because of its great food, chill music, remarkable hospitality, and good ambience. If you sit at one of the tables here for lunch, you’ll be greeted with beautiful views of the water, and you’ll never get tired of the panoramic views of the sea and the sound of the waves.

This family-friendly restaurant is perfect for both lunch and dinner, and solo travellers can enjoy privacy. It’s a premium restaurant with premium prices, but the food is worth the price.

We tried the following

Calamari (squid) Masala Fry

Calamari (squid) Masala Fry

We started our meal by ordering one of the restaurant’s signature dishes, the Calamari masala fry. The squids were marinated with masala and cooked to perfection, and the sauce was not too spicy. This had a tone of amazing flavours and is a must-try if you love seafood. Also, The quantity of Calamari was quite good.

Prawn Curry and Rice

Prawn Curry and Rice

Goan Prawn Curry made with Coconut milk is a spicy, creamy, sour curry that just goes well with plain rice. The dish was so yummy that even after the prawns in it were over, we had the gravy by itself. The aromatic curry was full of flavour and the shrimps were perfectly cooked, and the gravy was absolutely out of this world. The fragrant aroma of the prawn curry. It was by far our favourite dish we tried there.

Tamarind Margarita

Tamarind Margarita

The Tamarind margarita was the most memorable item that we ordered here because of its unique flavour. It was slightly sweet but tangy with a great blend of tequila. This drink was a delicious local take on a traditional cocktail.

Lime Meringue

Lime Meringue

No meal is complete without dessert! The Lime meringue was zesty, very light, and not too sweet. This dessert was not just beautifully presented but absolutely yummy. The melt-in-your-mouth meringue and the soft crust really elevated this dish.

So there you have it, this was our food review of Calamari Bath & Binge in Candolim. We had a fantastic time here. Their service was fast and attentive, and their staff was courteous and hospitable. You’ll be missing out on the best food in Goa if you skip out on visiting Calamari on your Goa trip.
