As you must be aware Goa is considered one of the most popular tourist destination in India, known for its beaches, waterfalls, nightlife parties and cultural heritage. Every year the state witnesses an upsurge in tourists. Till date, over 5.5 million tourists have visited Goa.
Having said that, travelling here could get very expensive.

Public transport, taxis and renting a car are the options available.

Safety – Generally drivers are overworked people and are quite likely to fatigue by driving all day, putting yourself and the ones travelling with you in a potential risk. By driving yourself you are in control of the wheel.
Privacy – Spending time and having your own personal conversations with your friends, family and loved ones wouldn’t feel safe and secure with a third party prying into them. Having your own personal ride would give you much more freedom and be spontaneous in whatever you say or do.
No Added Costs – Taxis generally tend to have additional waiting costs by the hour, which can turn out to be expensive considering you’re on vacation and will be spending a minimum of at least an hour or two per sight. You can spend your own sweet time wherever you go without thinking twice.
Own Convenience – You are in charge and your own boss! You can go wherever and at any time of the day or night. You have the luxury to plan your day earlier or later and return whenever you want to.
Tip: Before renting, run a check. Start the car engine, check the exteriors, interiors, horn, lights, breaks, door locks and most important of them all is to check the vehicle papers.
